Articles (a, an, the)

Articles छोटे शब्द हैं लेकिन सही अंग्रेजी लिखने और बोलने में बहुत जरूरी हैं।

Rules

• a: consonant sound से शुरू होने वाले singular countable noun से पहले
  उदाहरण: a book
• an: vowel sound से शुरू होने वाले singular countable noun से पहले
  उदाहरण: an apple
• the: जब किसी specific व्यक्ति/वस्तु की बात हो

Examples

• I saw a dog in the street.
• She is an honest person.
• The sun rises in the east.

ध्यान रखें

• an hour सही है क्योंकि h silent है।
• a university सही है क्योंकि शुरुआत yu sound से होती है।
